One government-issued photo ID. Any of the following will do.

Articles of Incorporation

If you're cashing a cheque made out to an incorporated business, bring the articles that prove the entity exists and that you have authority on its accounts.

Master Business Licence

For sole proprietorships and partnerships — the MBL issued by ServiceOntario establishes that the business is registered to operate under its trade name.

Proof of Identification of all Directors

For corporate cheques, we'll need photo ID for each named director on the articles of incorporation — same options as item one.

Proof of Address

A recent utility bill, bank statement, lease or government correspondence dated within the last 90 days confirming where you (or the business) currently reside.
